To my recollection, this is the nth time the government attempted to develop a pasig river ferry system. The recently inaugurated river ferry may work this time afterall, i went for a ride from the escolta station up to guadalupe station, it was quiet an experience, specially, for first timers like me. It was the first time for me to navigate and discover pasig river. Even with all the floating rubbish and the informal settlers at its banks, the river still has it share of beauty. If the government can sustain the pasig river development it may yet become a tourist attraction. The river ferry system should be integrated with the mrt stations near its route for it to capture its share of riders. Clean-up and re-development of its river banks should be mandated.
